Does The NEW Maybelline Tattoo Brow Really Work | Results & Review

Hands up if you hate doing your eyebrow! Hands up again if you always have major brow drama and filling them in is the most annoying part of your makeup routine! Let me tell you, my hands are way up high in the air. I like to think that I do an ok job when it comes to filling my brows in - If you look at my selfies a few years ago, to what they look like now, theres definitely a huge improvement in the way my brows look. BUT I hate filling them in, I find it so time consuming and I know the saying 'brows are sisters not twins', but sometimes my brows don't even look like there related! The idea of getting my brows tattooed on or micro bladed has always been appealing, but if truth be told I don't have the time or money for that. So when I started seeing all the hype on Instagram about the new Tattoo Brow from Maybelline I was curious and knew I had to pick one up on my next trip into town. I brought one a week ago and I have to say I'm impressed, so I thought I'd share with you all my results and give you all a review so you can decide if its worth picking one up yourselves.

What's In The Box?

The Tattoo Brow comes in this little box, which is actually really informative and gives you the easy three step needed on how to apply the product and achieve beautiful semi-permeant brows. Inside the box is a little tube (a similar size to a lipstick) which contains the Tattoo Brow. I actually really like the packaging of this product, it's simple and sleek and looks like a brow product.

Easy Application

I was really scared about the application process, mainly because the product looks so dark and I was worried about the end result giving me horrible looking brows. My fears aside, the process is really easy and simple and anyone can do it.

Step 1 - Apply the product all over the hairs on your brow. The first time I did this I was scared and felt there was a pressure to be really precise. But fear not, any product that goes on the surrounding skin can be easily wiped away before the Tattoo Brow sets. I did find the wand a little clumsy as its quite thick and the product feels really sticky. What worked best for me was applying a good chuck on the product to the centre of my brows and using my angled brow brush to go around the edges of my brow for a nice clean look.

Step 2 - Wait for at least 20 minutes. The first time I tried this I thought I'd leave the product on for the minimum amount of time because I had no idea how they would turn out. Maybelline recommend leaving the product on for two hours for brows that last up to three days. The second time I used this I left it on for an hour and I found the results to be longer lasting.

Step 3 - Peel and Reveal. This is just as easy as it sounds and I found the Tattoo Brow came off with ease and didn't stick to my brows at all. I found the areas where I had applied more product were a lot easier to peel off, so bare that in mind when you're applying it.

The Results

Oh my gosh guys, I love the results and I was so impressed. Firstly I have quite sparse brows in places, especially towards the middle of my brow and I loved how my brows instantly looked fuller and thicker. Secondly it looks like I had just filled them in, they looked so good that I would have been more than happy to leave the house without using any product on them or touching them up. The first thing I did once I peeled of the Tattoo Brow was send a photo of my brows to my bestie with the caption 'I have no product on my brows'. I was so excited by the results.

Maybelline Tattoo Brow

This is such a game changer, no longer do I have to have that nightmare moment of filling in my brows every morning, I can apply the rest of my makeup and I'm good to go. This is also perfect for those non makeup days. I don't know about anyone else, but even when I'm not wearing any makeup I like to have a bit of product on my brows as it makes me feel a little bit more put together. For me this is the perfect product for quick and easy brows and if you have any brow dramas then you need to pick the Tattoo Brow up - You can buy it from Boots for £13.00 here.

Have you tried this product yet, let me know what you think?
